Written by a former Christie's employee who was Public Relations Director, 1959-85, and one of the team who recovered Christie's 'from a perilously weak position in 1958 to one of strength and success in 1988'. The book forms an 'autobiographical account' of this recovery and of the history of Christie's in this period. Structured in 28 chapters.
