Notes:

Based on conference and workshop papers [2009], deals with diverse issues re retail and consumption of textiles in a Western European context. The work has four themes: 1] relationship between consumers and textiles with emphasis on consumption; 2] broader systems of individuals and networks that linked production and consumption, notably retail systems; 3] retail practices; 4] second hand textiles. In particular 'focuses on the processes and practices of retailing and assesses how these responded to and promoted wider changes in value systems and supply networks'.
