A supplement with corrigenda was published in 1968, 36pp. The author, as a scientist, was involved in the technical development of viscose rayon working in laboratories at Kew and, later, Coventry. Early on he worked for the Viscose Syndicate Ltd/Viscose Development Co Ltd/Viscose Spinning Syndicate Co Ltd and, later, Courtaulds. His is a narrative account avoiding technical detail with much on commercial aspects
