An autobiography of (Sir) Eric Mensforth, b1906, focusing on his business life with much also about his father, Sir Eric Mensforth. Eric Mensforth was a senior director of John Brown & Co Ltd from the 1930s and also Vice Chairman of its subsidiary, Westland Aircraft Ltd from 1945 and Chairman, 1953-68. His father, Sir Holberry Mensforth, 1871-1951, was also a distinguished businessman in the heavy engineering sector, being, inter alia, a senior executive director of Bolckow, Vaughan & Co Ltd, English Electric Co Ltd, 1930-33, and of John Brown from 1933.
