By 1920s printing was dominant activity, in particular printing of high quality business stationery for wholesale stationers and other printers. 1932 incorporated as W R Royle & Son Ltd. Post 1945 made hugely successful diversification into high quality greeting card production employing such graphic artists as John T Y Gilroy. Still at work 1980s
