Also started electrical installation contracting on a substantial scale. 1944 established profit sharing. By 1950s a major York business. 1960s opened several branches in Yorkshire, mostly by acquisition - eg Good of Scarborough Ltd, Barratt of Whitby Ltd, Gotch of Selby Ltd. Reorganised in 1990s when divided into two separate businesses - retailing and property - which subsequently went separate ways [2024]
