Established in 1890s to build an ice making factory to support the rapidly growing local fishing industry which was heavily dependent on imported ice. It was formed by merger of two existing businesses, Great Grimsby Ice Co Ltd and Grimsby Co-operative Ice Co Ltd. Built very large factory, 1898-1901, which was subsequently extended. Closed 1990.
