Notes:

Traced origins to J Longman & Co, established 1768 and restyled Longman, Lukey & Broderip in 1773 and as Longman & Broderip in 1776. 1795 bankrupt and soon after reorganised as two businesses, Broderip & Wilkinson of Haymarket and Longman, Clementi & Co of Cheapside, the latter business subsequently developing as Collard & Collard. The former was restyled Wilkinson & Co in 1808. 1809 gave up publishing to focus on piano making.1811 restyled Wilkinson & Wornum and closed in 1812 when the two partners continued in business separately.
