Business renamed in 1957 Rediffusion Ltd. 1954, with BET and Associated Newspapers, formed Associated Rediffusion Ltd, later Rediffusion Television Ltd, to obtain independent television franchise for London weekday services. Contract subsequently lost in 1960s.
