Nicholas Paris, d1716, was at work at Warwick in 1670. Emerged as one of finest metalworking craftsmen of his day, making guns, clocks and architectural metalwork such as gates. Also repaired church monument. Succeeded by his sons, notably Nicholas junior, 1681-1739/40, who were still at work in the 1740s
