Notes:

Melingriffith works dated to mid 18th century with several subsequent changes of owner. 1810 operated by Richard Blakemore & Co and expanded rapidly to acquire Pentyrch Forge and collieries. Subsequently traded as T W Booker & Co and reconstructed 1872 as T W Booker & Co Ltd when a leading producer of iron and tinplate. 1881 sold to Cardiff Iron & Tinplate Co Ltd and in 1888 Melingriffith Works sold again to Richard Thomas who established Melingriffith Co Ltd for the purpose. 1934 acquired by Richard Thomas & Co Ltd
