Thomas Howell. c1480-1537, was an early 16th century merchant, originally from Bristol and especially active in the London/Seville cloth trade. Set up in business in London c1506 and from time to time based in Seville to which he moved permanently in 1528. Emerged as a leading merchant but notable on account of the survival of one of his ledgers
