Established, inter alia, by Brigadier General A C Critchley in mid 1920s to build and operate greyhound racing tracts throughout Britain. Started in Manchester in 1926, acquired White City Stadium, London, in 1927 and subsequently others including the building of Harringay Stadium in late 1920s and Arena in mid 1930s. Venues also used for other functions such as boxing, speedway, ice hockey, etc. In 1950s emerged also as a property business and known as GRA Ltd
