By 1962 public company known as Dixon Photographic Ltd with 16 branches. 1967 started developing and printing business (sold to management 1989). 1972 acquired Wallace Heaton shops and in 1984 acquired Currys Group which greatly broadened retail business. 1986 acquired Supasnaps and in 1988 Wigfalls. 1990s focused on selling computer equipment and started international expansion. By then known as Dixons Group Plc and 2005 renamed DSG International Plc. 2014 merged with Carphone Warehouse Ltd to form Dixons Carphone
