Long established milling business dating to about early 18th century when established at Conder by Andrews family. John Andrews, 1721-1808, developed substantial business interests, inter alia adding linen manufacture to milling. Early 19th century known as James Andrews & Sons. Milling business separated into Isaac Andrews & Sons in 1879 and immediately acquired mills in Belfast, the Comber mill closing in 1883. Became leading millers at Belfast where associated activities such as baking were acquired. Still operating 1980s when acquired Ormeau Bakery
