(Sir) Henry Seckford. d1610, was a merchant and shipowner engaged in Anglo Spanish trading by 1550s. In 1570s and early 1580s, with his brother, appointed Victualler of the Realm of Ireland, engaged in supplying British forces there. At this time also engaged successfully in privateering.
