Reorganised as W & R Jackson in 1900 when also operating a slaughterhouse and then run by Jackson's sons. Sent their livestock and sheep and cattle meat by rail to all parts of UK. 1930s focused on production of sheep meat and expanded very rapidly in 1950s and 60s to become a significant player in its industry. By 1970s general trading conditions resulted in declining performance. Closed 1981
