Established 1894 to acquire the electric pleasure launch hire department of General Electric Power & Traction Co Ltd, builders and operators of launches on the Thames which was being wound up. Established by Moritz Immisch and others. Acquired by British Electric Traction Co Ltd 1897. 1903 reorganised as Immisch Launch & Boat Co Ltd and subsequently also built petrol driven launches. 1914 sold to Thornycroft which changed its name to Hampton Launch Co Ltd
