Renamed Albion Motors Ltd 1931. Acquired by Leyland Motors Ltd, later British Leyland Motor Corp Ltd, in 1951 after which Albion name was dropped in 1972. Production moved to Bathgate in 1980 but component manufacture continued at Scotstoun and was subject to a management buyout in 1993 as Albion Automotive. This business was acquired by American Axle in 1998 [2024]
