Established by T W Beach, a market gardener and fruit grower at Brentford, in c1882 to make jam for sale in glass jars which apparently was then a novelty. From c1870 known as T W Beach & Sons and by 1880s its brand was known nationwide. Lord Sudeley in 1880 started fruit farming on his Gloucestershire estates and reached agreement with Beach for use of his fruit in jam making in a purpose built factory at Toddington, Gloucestershire. 1886 incorporated. c1906 built a further factory at Evesham. Connected with Croome Estate Private Jam Co of Pershore, established by Lord Coventry. Brentford factory closed 1929. 1941 acquired by Allied Suppliers Ltd.
