Developed into a major non ferrous metal (refining, copper, brass, zinc, alloys, aluminum) processing business undertaking rolling, drawing, casting, extruding to make wire, sheet, strip, fabricated parts, etc, employing 6,000 by early 1960s. 1963 merged with Delta Group / Delta Metal Co Ltd with which it had formerly had a joint venture
