George Frederick Bodley, 1827-1907, was in partnership with Thomas Garner, 1839-1906, in London from late 1860s to 1897. He had formerly been in practice at Brighton from 1850, moving to London in 1855. Garner had formerly been in practice in Warwickshire. Both focused on ecclesiastical architecture and were part of the Gothic revival movement; they were the most important church designers of their period. Also did some domestic and educational work. Both partners, with George Gilbert Scott junior, in 1874 established Watts & Co, church and house furnishers, and contributed designs to it
